Sanjay Dutt’s much-awaited film Ghudchadi is all set to enthrall the audience with its unique blend of romance and comedy. After multiple delays since its announcement in 2022, the film is finally set to debut on an OTT platform. The romantic comedy promises to deliver a Rocky and Rani-esque love story, i.e. an intertwining of love and family dynamics with a side of unexpected twists and turns.

Ghudchadi will premiere exclusively on JioCinema on August 9, 2024. The film revolves around Chirag (played by Parth Samthaan) and Bebika (played by Khushalii Kumar), a couple who are deeply in love. Soon, they decide to take the plunge into marriage. However, their plans are disrupted by their parents, Chirag’s father played by Sanjay Dutt and Bebika’s mother played by Raveena Tandon. The disruption is not the usual kind.

The twist? The parents rekindle their old romance, complicating the young couple’s plans. The trailer, which is 2 minutes and 53 seconds long, introduces viewers to this dramatic and humorous scenario. It begins with Parth Samthaan’s character meeting Khushalii Kumar in a business setting, which quickly leads to romance and their decision to get married.

The story takes a twist when it is revealed that Parth's father and Khushalii's mother were once lovers, leading to a chaotic and comical race to the altar before the situation further complicates their relationships. "It is an out-and-out comedy and a family film. I loved it from the moment I heard the first narration and I feel lucky to have worked with the entire team," quipped Raveena Tandon.
