Lake fire in Santa Barbara County destroys over 4,500 acres
The Lake Fire in Santa Barbara County has now grown to 37,742 acres, but the fire is now 20% contained.
The fire, the largest in the state this year, has kept more than 3,400 crews working around the clock to extinguish the flames.
Santa Barbara County Fire Department spokesman Capt. Scott Safechuck said there is a "visible difference" on the south side of the fire.
