The Vice President said the Philippine National Police must also demonstrate that it is an independent institution that stands for the truth, especially in the face of lies and abuses.
Duterte's message came after PNP leader Rommel Marbil pulled 75 officers from her security unit and redeployed them to Metro Manila.
