EXCLUSIVE: Sasha Pieterse (Pretty Little Liars) and Mitchell Slaggert (The Sex Lives of College Girls) are set to star in the new Lifetime holiday movie A Carpenter Christmas Romance from writer and executive producer Sarah Drew.

Drew also wrote A Cowboy Christmas Romance, which set pulses racing with a steamy love scene and became Lifetime’s top-rated holiday title last year. The network notes that Drew will continue to bring the holiday silliness to A Carpenter Christmas Romance, the story of bestselling author Andrea (Pieterse) who reunites with her sexy carpenter ex-crush Seth (Slaggert).

"After the success of A Cowboy Christmas Romance , it's clear that there is an audience hungry for spicy holiday romances," Drew shared in a statement. "Teaming up with Autumn Federici and Jake Helgren on The Ninth House was just as dreamy as the last. I'm thrilled Lifetime is supporting us to bring a little more mischief to the holiday season. In the film, when author Andrea hints that her upcoming book will take a heartbreaking turn, her fans begin to protest, demanding that their favorite character not be killed off. Needing a refuge where she can finish her novel, Andrea flees to her family’s farm in the small town of Wildwood. Much to her surprise, she runs into her ex-crush, Seth, a woodworking artisan who is helping rebuild the town after it was nearly destroyed by fire. It’s not long before sawdust and sparks of romance fill the air as the two work together to rekindle the town’s Christmas spirit. Is this romance just a holiday fling that ends when her trip is over? Or can the two build a love that’s made to last?
