The first look at Saturday Night has been revealed.

Vanity Fair has released new images from Saturday Night, Jason Reitman's upcoming film about the events leading up to the opening night of Saturday Night Live in 1975. The film begins on October 11, 1975 at 10 p.m. and ends with the first broadcast of SNL.

"This isn't just about the first seven actors, it's about the writers, the art department, everyone who came together at the last minute to change television," Reitman told Vanity Fair. "What was so unusual about this show was not only that it was live, but the format was unlike anything anyone had ever seen before."
