SPOILER ALERT: The following article contains spoilers from Sunda's final season of CBS' SEAL Team.
SEAL Team Series Finale Ending Explained
With a final episode airing on Sunday, October 6, CBS Studios’ military drama SEAL Team has come to an end. The seven-season run on CBS and Paramount+ centered on an elite unit of U.S. Navy SEALs, and was one of the few shows to bridge the gap between networks and streamers.
After a successful mission in the penultimate episode of SEAL Team Season 7, which resulted in the arrest of a major fentanyl drug trafficker and the elimination of a Green Beret traitor, Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz) and Team Bravo return to Virginia Beach. But their respite with family as they process the intense events of the season is short-lived as the unit deploys to Afghanistan for one final mission.
Throughout episode ten, Jason struggles with the large amounts of blood on his hands, causing preparations for daughter Emma's (Kerri Medders) wedding to go haywire. After the delivery is completed in Afghanistan, Ray Perry (Neil Brown Jr.) and Sonny Quinn (AJ Buckley) accompany Hayes on a trip to visit the wife of the first person he killed as penance. Soon, however, the trio's vehicle is bombed, while their extraction goes haywire.
