North Texas girl who was sex trafficked at a Dallas Mavericks game tells her story of survival
Sean “Diddy” Combs is putting the federal government in the spotlight for alleged deception and making a third attempt to get out of prison as he awaits trial on sex trafficking and other charges.
As before, the Grammy winner posts a $50 million bond and makes many promises of house arrest. But now that he's in court, Combs is accusing the government of being lax with the evidence when it comes to his claims of obstruction of justice and witness coercion.
“The government’s arguments about the risk of obstruction were based on speculation, based primarily on untested allegations about communications with witnesses in civil cases and communications that were initiated by alleged witnesses and not by Mr. Combs,” said the rapper, who has just filed a motion against pretrial release in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second District.
