Finally, Season 2 of "Severance" is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on January 17, 2025, nearly three years after the first season premiered. When the workplace sci-fi thriller returns, it will undoubtedly resolve some of the cliffhangers that left fans on edge following the Season 1 finale.

"I think it's going to be a really interesting second season," John Turturro, who plays corporate executive Irving, told Variety. "We're diving into the unknown that the audience is waiting for, and then we're taking it one step at a time."
Director and executive producer Ben Stiller hopes the three-year gap between seasons will live up to fans' high expectations.
"It's an interesting experience," he said of working on Season 2 of "Severance." "I've never done it before — a second season of something. Everything I've done has been canceled. But you know, I feel like the audience has an expectation — that they should have if they love something. For us, it's just been a process of trying to meet our expectation of what we think the show should be and commit to that."
