Sharon Tate, who rose to fame in the 1960s, is remembered to this day after her untimely death. The actress was pregnant when she tragically passed away at the age of 26 in 1969. Members of the Manson Family brutally murdered Tate and six others during a two-night crime spree in Los Angeles. Decades later, two of Sharon Tate's killers are still alive in 2024. American serial killer Charles Manson led the notorious cult. He died in 2017 after serving decades in prison.
According to The Standard, the following members of the Manson family were involved in Tate's murder: Tex Watson, Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel and Linda Kasabian.
NBC News reported that one of Tate's killers, Tex Watson, was denied parole for the 18th time in 2021. It was further reported that he would be eligible for parole in five years. Watson was sentenced to death in 1971, but it was commuted to life in prison after the death penalty was overturned by the California Supreme Court the following year. While in prison, Watson married, divorced and had four children, according to People magazine.
