During a recent interview, the actor shared his thoughts on the possibility of a potential sequel.
Is Shooter 2 Coming? Mark Wahlberg Hints at a Sequel!
While promoting his new project, The Union, Mark Wahlberg was asked if there would be a Shooter sequel and what his future plans are.
Given the recent executive changes at Paramount and the production giant's acquisition by Skydance, Wahlberg seemingly hinted at the possibility of Shooter 2, but didn't confirm anything.
In an interview with Screen Rant, he said, "Well, I think my good friends at Skydance just acquired Paramount, so I think that's a possibility. We've got a pretty good library there with not just Shooter, with The Italian Job, even Four Brothers, The Fighter. And then other things that they have in the library that might be interesting to revisit or re-visit, but that one in particular."
