In a few weeks, survival horror fans will be able to revisit the haunted streets and corridors of Silent Hill. The latest Silent Hill 2 trailer focuses on the remake's story and cast
SILENT HILL 2 REMAKE || OFFICIAL STORY TRAILER
The new Silent Hill 2 story trailer features a conversation between protagonist James Sunderland and Maria, a woman who bears a striking resemblance to his late wife Mary. She also knows quite a bit about the couple, and discusses a videotape they recorded at a hotel. The trailer ends with Maria saying, "It doesn't matter who I am. I'm here for you, James. You see, I'm real."
The Silent Hill 2 story trailer also shows footage of the characters Angela Orosco, Eddie Dombrowski, and Laura. Eddie can be seen armed and clearly looking a little deranged. Laura then tries to run away from James, wondering what could possibly harm her. The scene cuts to Angela lying on the ground, wobbling on the ground with a bloody knife.
The upcoming SIient Hill 2 remake is being developed by Bloober Team and published by Konami Digital Entertainment. Much of the Polish developer’s catalog includes horror games such as Layers of Fear, Observer, The Medium, and Blair Witch. Konami announced that Bloober Team would remake the fan-favorite survival horror using the Unreal Engine 5 game in October 2022.
