Watch the full Boyzone interview Sky News November 2009
Boyzone's Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Michael Graham are set to appear in a joint interview for the first time in thirty years in a Sky documentary about one of the most successful British boy bands of all time.
Boyzone [working title] will reveal the personal experiences of the band members, who have sold more than 25 million records worldwide. They will open up about how they grappled with the true costs of global fame, while the doc will also feature contributions from those closest to Stephen Gately, another former member who died in 2009. Louis Walsh will contribute, and there will be never-before-seen archive footage from the group's early career.
The documentary explores the key events that shaped Boyzone, including the highs and lows of global fame, the huge influence of the tabloid media in Britain in the 1990s which forced Gately to come out, and after a sensational comeback in 2007, Gately's death, which the remaining members have still not gotten over.
