Saturday Night Live newcomer Jane Wickline stole the show from Colin Jost on this week's “Weekend Update” with a satirical song that examined Gen Z's attitudes toward partying.

After Jost presented a statistic showing that 71% of young people are going out less, Wickline emerged with a keyboard to sing the aptly named song “Party,” in which she described a night out that wasn’t quite what it seemed.
“The host couple goes upstairs, they're going crazy at the party,” the main character sings, while also recounting how the ceiling light has come on and the DJ has packed up his gear.
"I'm the plus one to someone who's gone," Wickline sings on the hook, as Jost contemplates the party actually ending. When he tries to cut her off, Wickline jokes, "I plan on keeping singing."
