Snoop Dogg contributed to NBC's coverage of the 2024 Olympics for much of the game. In fine form, he helped close out the Games with a performance during the closing ceremony.

The rapper performed a version of "Drop It Like It's Hot" on an LA beach in front of elaborate sand castles before being joined by Dr. Dre on a nearby stage for an energetic rendition of their hit "The Next Episode." They were part of a lineup that included Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers and HER. The performance was a nod to his Long Beach roots, as the 2028 Olympics are scheduled to take place in Los Angeles.

Snoop was there from the start of the Olympics, carrying the torch on the final stretch to Paris. He ran through the streets of Saint-Denis, a northern suburb of Paris that is home to the Stade de France Olympic Stadium.
