House Majority Leader and Zamboanga City Rep. Manuel Jose Dalipe has strongly condemned those responsible for the production and distribution of an AI-generated video to vilify and attack President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. hours before his third State of the Nation Address (SONA).

“The fabricated video, which falsely depicts the president using illegal substances, is not only an attack on his person but an insult to the entire nation,” Dalipe said.
The fake video was allegedly shown during the Maisug rally, which was organized by the Duterte family and their followers, and was spread on social media by vloggers linked to them.
“The Dutertes have been going all over the country organizing these Maisug rallies to call for the resignation of President Marcos so that Vice President Sara Duterte can take over,” the solon said.
