Sofía Vergara is open to returning to the world of Modern Family and has even suggested she could direct a TV movie in the future.

Vergara recently told Variety in a cover story that she would like to step back into the iconic comedy series, even suggesting that something like a TV movie would be a good option for the series.
"I would die to be on that set," Vergara said. "It would be so much fun. A TV movie, maybe?"
Vergara did indicate that it's too soon to revive the series, joking that she keeps telling Ed O'Neill (who co-starred with Vergara on the series) that he can't die before they get a chance to have a reunion.
