The quo warranto petition against Alice Guo will continue, Attorney General Menardo Guevarra said Tuesday (Aug. 13).

After learning that the Office of the Ombudsman (OMB) had issued an order removing Guo as mayor of Bamban, Tarlac, Guevarra assured that “the quo warranto petition will continue.”
The Office of the Attorney General (OSG) filed a petition with the Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) on July 29 last year, requesting that Guo's proclamation as mayor be nullified.
“Mayor Alice Guo can still appeal the OMB's dismissal order,” the attorney general said.
