Featuring Donna Summer, Bee Gees, Tess Parks and original orchestral direction by Danny Elfman, the music from Tim Burton’s horror-comedy sequel will be available September 9 as a deluxe double LP featuring colored vinyl of “Beetlejuice Splatter,” a Sandworm etching on side D, brand new artwork by Phantom City Creative, heavy-duty gatefold packaging with a matte satin finish and an 11” x 11” art print insert.
Elfman was the composer of the original 1988 "Beetlejuice," which featured "Day-O" and Harry Belafonte's "Jump In The Line." Other collaborations with Burton include "The Nightmare Before Christmas," "Edward Scissorhands," "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Corpse Bride," "Big Fish," "Alice in Wonderland," "Sleepy Hallow," "Mars Attacks!" and "Dumbo."
Waxwork Records, founded in 2013, specializes in adapting soundtracks for the big screen to physical media via CD and vinyl releases. One of Waxwork’s most recent releases was the soundtrack to Dev Patel’s “Monkey Man” in a deluxe double LP, which went on sale August 16th.
