Netflix has finally released the teaser trailer for Spellbound, an upcoming animated musical set to hit the streamer on November 22, 2024. Featuring an all-star cast including Rachel Zegler and Nicole Kidman, Spellbound is an "original fairy tale reimagining of a modern tale."
The upcoming animated film brings together the creative minds behind Toy Story, Shrek, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Tangled. Spellbound is directed by Vicky Jenson, with an original score by famed composer Alan Menken. It also stars John Lithgow, Jenifer Lewis, Nathan Lane, Tituss Burgess, and Javier Bardem.
“Spellbound follows the adventures of Ellian, the tenacious young daughter of the rulers of Lumbria who must embark on a daring quest to save her family and kingdom after a mysterious spell turns her parents into monsters,” the synopsis reads.
