French film studio Still Moving has teamed up with Swiss GoldenEggProduction to co-produce “Tropical Malaise” (“Malestar tropical”), a drama set in Colombia and directed by Jorge Cadena, whose short film “Flores del otro patio” won a Special Jury Award at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival.

“Tropical Malaise” is one of 14 projects that will be launched at the Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum in San Sebastian in 2024.

Produced by Gabriela Bussmann and Yan Decoppet at GoldenEggProduction in Geneva, “Tropical Malaise” is in the financing phase and is scheduled to shoot in early 2026.
