Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s recent horror comedy Stree 2 continues its strong box office run six days after its release. The film, which released on August 15, 2024, has emerged as a blockbuster despite competition from Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa. On day 6, Stree 2 has cemented its spot as one of the highest-grossing films of the year.

Stree 2, directed by Amar Kaushik, has had an impressive run since its release. The film performed exceptionally well even on its first day of business after the extended holiday weekend. Early estimates put Stree 2 at around $2.9 million in India on Day 6. This strong performance comes on the heels of its remarkable performance over the weekend.
The film’s box office grosses have been breaking records so far. On its opening day, Stree 2 collected $6.1 million. It was followed by $3.7 million on Day 2, $5.2 million on Day 3, $6.6 million on Day 4 and $4.5 million on Day 5. With $2.9 million added on Day 6, Shraddha Kapoor’s latest film has collected a total of $30.3 million in domestic grosses.
Moreover, according to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film saw a minimal drop of 35 percent from Monday's box office. However, Tuesday's earnings surpassed the opening figures of other big-budget films. This includes Hrithik Roshan's Fighter and the Hindi version of Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD. The film has crossed the $41.7 million mark worldwide, further cementing its position as a box office giant.
