There was no noticeable change in the first weekend of the month, as the afterglow of last week's triumphant launch of "Deadpool & Wolverine" barely faded, overshadowing the relatively muted debuts of M. Night Shyamalan's "Trap" and the animated children's film "Harold and the Purple Crayon."
