That's more than double the comparable audience in attendance for Sunday's Games in Tokyo (17.4 million viewers across platforms), highlighted by medal-worthy performances from Noah Lyles, Suni Lee and Bobby Finke.
According to the company, Sunday's broadcast was streamed by 4.5 million viewers across digital platforms Peacock and NBCU alone.
This year’s Olympics couldn’t be better for NBCU, as the Summer Games draw huge daily viewership. Starting with the Opening Ceremony, the total viewing audience over the 10 days is approximately 33 million viewers in the combined live Paris Prime (2-5 p.m. ET) and U.S. Primetime (8-11 p.m. ET/PT) periods. That’s an 80% increase over Tokyo.
