Around four months ago, the makers released a teaser that showcased an epic fight between Suriya and Bobby Deol, which raised the expectations for the film. Now that the trailer is all set to release, the excitement has reached a fever pitch as viewers gear up to dive into the world of Kanguva. The production house recently ramped up the buzz by announcing that the trailer will be out soon.

Directed by Siva, Kanguva presents a visually stunning backdrop with Suriya and Bobby Deol in striking tribal avatars. While the plot has been kept under wraps, it has been confirmed that Kanguva is a fictional story set in a 500-year timeline, from the 1700s to 2023.
In an interview with The New Indian Express, director Siva explained, "The Tamil word Kangu means fire, and Kanguva means a man with the power of fire. The film is set 1,500 years ago and uses elements from ancient Tamil culture and other cultures across India. Kanguva is a fictional story set in an imaginary world with strong historical references and facts."
Studio Green recently announced on X that they will be releasing the Kanguva trailer on August 12 at 1:00 PM IST. The announcement, which was posted on August 11, reads: "Brace yourself for the King's Wrath & Glory. Big #KanguvaTrailer reveal tomorrow at 1:00 PM IST."
