Peacock on Thursday announced the premiere date of Teacup, the horror series inspired by Robert McCammon's New York Times bestseller Stinger.

A new teaser has also been released for the series, which will hit the streamer on October 10 (watch it above). Starring Scott Speedman and Yvonne Strahovski, Teacup follows a diverse group of people on a ranch who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat. The first season will consist of eight 30-minute episodes.
"When I read these scripts, I knew there was going to be a very character-based slow burn," Speedman told reporters before the series' Comic-Con panel. "It takes a while to get going, but once it does, it just makes more sense and the horror elements come in."
