The trailer for Terminator Zero has been revealed, predicting the end of humanity in the high-profile Netflix anime coming out next month.

The trailer tells us a new story in the Terminator universe. The rise of a new rival threatens Skynet. So it sends a Terminator to kill its creator. In an age-old tradition, someone is sent back to protect the target. There is also some ominous teasing of the nuclear apocalypse that leads to Skynet’s future dominance. Simply put, it looks like a classic Terminator plot with some exciting animated visuals. Sold.
The series will run for eight episodes and is a completely new, yet canonical story in the Terminator universe.
