The Bear broke a record on Wednesday with a whopping 23 Emmy nominations for season 2.
'The Bear's' 23 Emmy nominations set the highest number ever for a comedy
The FX series now has the most second-season nominations ever for a comedy series. The previous record was held by 30 Rock with 22 — held by the NBC series since 2009.
The Bear received another nomination for Best Comedy Series, and lead actors Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri also received further acting nominations.
