Meet The Biggest Loser's New Trainer, Cara Castronova
Trainer Cara Castronuova, who appeared on Season 11 of The Biggest Loser, is suing the New York State Board of Elections for allegedly blocking her and others from putting their name forward as a Republican challenger to incumbent Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.
Castronuova was initially banned from the Republican Party ballot when party leaders objected to signatures she submitted in April to get her name on the ballot.
A judge said in May that voters could write her name in. But there was no Republican primary in the race, and therefore no ballots for the party's candidates.
