The Bold and the Beautiful has found a new Dr. Taylor Hayes.

Soap veteran Rebecca Budig makes her CBS soap debut today as a psychiatrist, replacing Krista Allen, who was written off the show in October 2023 after replacing Hunter Tylo in 2021.
"I love therapy — I've been in therapy for years — which is obviously a little bit different than psychiatry," she tells People, which first reported the news. "I've met enough mental health professionals … to get a sense of what they're like."
"Before this job came along, I was thinking about going back to school and studying psychology because it really fascinates me," she continued. "It's ironic that I got this role, since that's what I was going to try to do in the fall." Budig's previous credits include roles on General Hospital, All My Children and Guiding Light.
