The Boys Season 4 Ending Explained
Here's everything that happens at the end of The Boys Season 4 Episode 8.
In The Boys Season 4 Episode 8, Homelander reveals on live TV that Victoria Neuman is a Supe, sending the country into a frenzy. The shapeshifting Supe nearly kills Robert Singer while pretending to be Annie, but Hughie figures out the truth at the last minute. The real Annie frees herself and arrives in time to kill the shapeshifter.
Meanwhile, Mallory tells Ryan the truth about everything in a desperate attempt to convince him to stand up to Homelander. This includes how he was conceived and the fact that Homelander let everyone on Flight 37 die. Ryan refuses and as he tries to leave, he seemingly accidentally kills Mallory. When Victoria realizes that Homelander plans to make her his puppet after she becomes President and she and her daughter will never be safe, she asks Hughie and the Boys for help. Although the Boys accept, a newly disillusioned Butcher arrives and kills Victoria with tendrils coming out of his chest. As he leaves, Butcher takes the Supe-killing virus that Frenchie harvested from Kimiko's severed leg.
