Three lost episodes from Season 4 of "One Day at a Time" (including what should have been the series finale) will finally see the light of day — via a charity table reading to benefit the late Norman Lear's People For the American Way Foundation. The show's cast and executive producers will reunite to read unproduced scripts on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the TV Academy's Saban Media Center in North Hollywood.
Proceeds from the event will benefit People For the American Way, the organization co-founded by Lear that continues to focus on democracy and defending the nation's freedom. The scripts, which were written for Season 4 of "One Day at a Time" but never produced, are part of the event and are being produced by "One Day at a Time" executive producers Gloria Calderón Kellett, Mike Royce and Brent Miller, as well as producer Sandi Hochman.
