If there's one thing the cast of "The Challenge" — and viewers — know, it's that TJ Lavin is no fool. He proved it on the series finale. After Era 3 won the daily challenge, captains Tony and Averey had to choose which other team captains would go on to face the losers, Jodi and Darrell, in the elimination. They couldn't agree on anything.
While Tony wanted to send Derek and Aviv into the arena, because Darrell had asked him to, Averey was very close to Derek and refused to turn on them, instead focusing on Kaycee and Kyland.
