The Challenge bosses reveal iconic season 40, share their 'Real World: Homecoming' hopes and traffic rules
It’s officially “The Challenge” season. Making history as the first-ever season of the MTV hit with all of the returning cast members, Season 40, “Battle of the Eras,” debuts on MTV Wednesday, Aug. 14, and may be the most intense — and emotional — season yet.

"I'm excited to see people like CT, Johnny Bananas, and Mark Long. I'm old school," says Jon Murray, founder and executive consultant of Bunim-Murray Productions. "You've seen how CT has come into being and how he's gone from being this tough guy who could trigger at any moment to being the calmest guy in the room sometimes. It's great to be able to tell those long, evolving stories."
