GKIDS has finally revealed the trailer for The Colors Within ahead of the upcoming U.S. release of the musical anime film about three college students who become friends after forming a band together.

"Totsuko is a high school student with the ability to see the 'colors' of others. Colors of bliss, excitement, and serenity, plus one color she cherishes as her favorite. Kimi, a classmate at her school, radiates the most beautiful color of them all," reads the official synopsis. "Though she doesn't play an instrument, Totsuko forms a bond with Kimi and Rui, a quiet music lover they meet in a used bookstore in the back of town. As they practice in an old church on a remote island, music brings them together, friendships are formed, and feelings are awakened. Will they discover their true 'colors'?"

The Colors Within (Kimi no iro) will open in theaters in Los Angeles on December 13, followed by a nationwide release on January 13, 2025. This comes after the anime film recently made its world premiere at the Annecy International Film Festival.
