"At 19:07, the members of the occult club hold a ritual ceremony to summon 'Master Salt' at Kamono Girls' High School in Tokyo, to help one of the members, Nanako, who has been plagued by mysterious incidents," the synopsis reads. "They draw a pentagon and a circle with purified salt and burn a sealed envelope with a written wish. Out of nowhere, the divine protector, Master Salt, appears with a gust of wind. She sees through the identity of the spirit who cursed Nanako and dispels the curse. After that, Nanako and her friends ask Master Salt to dispel the curses that bring misery to people. They discover that this world is full of people who curse others. What will Master Salt and the girls encounter in the fight against a powerful enemy?"

The Divine Protector: Master Salt will be available to rent or purchase on all North American digital HD internet, cable, and satellite platforms, as well as on DVD, from Freestyle Digital Media on August 27, 2024. The film is directed by Hiroshi Akabane from a screenplay by Ryuho Okawa and Shio Okawa. The film stars Rin Kijima as Master Salt/Shioko Kamono, Saya Fukunaga as Nanako Igarashi, Kokoro Nishiwaki as Miki Hoshino, Rino Otaki as Hiraku Hoshino, Tsubasa Tendo/Big Tengu as Munehiro Yoshida, Sakura Kamijo as Mariya Suzuki, and Yuki Meguro as Mitsunori Tendo. The film is produced by Yoichi Utebi, Ryuho Okawa, Kaoru Ota, and Naofumi Sato, with Ryuho Okawa serving as executive producer.
