We are four seasons
EXCLUSIVE: The Four Seasons is expanding its series-clinching cast with Marco Calvani as the newest addition to the Netflix comedy based on the 1981 film from Tina Fey, Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield.
As previously announced, Fey, Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Erika Henningsen, and Will Forte will star. While a logline for the series has not yet been provided, The Four Seasons will follow three couples who vacation together each season, only to have their worlds turned upside down when one of them gets divorced. Alan Alda directed from his script and starred opposite Carol Burnett, with Martin Bregman serving as a producer.
The Four Seasons, from Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and Fey's production company Little Stranger, Inc., is produced by Fey, Fisher, Wigfield, David Miner, Eric Gurian and Jeff Richmond. Alda and Marissa Bregman are producing, with Fey, Fisher and Wigfield writing the scripts. Academy Award-nominated filmmakers Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman (Succession) are directing the first two episodes. The series is set to go into production later this year.
