The Gentlemen – Exclusive Trailer (2024) Guy Ritchie, Theo James, Daniel Ings
Netflix has released the full trailer for Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen, which premieres Thursday, March 7 and is inspired by the 2019 film, after an earlier teaser revealed the casting of Ray Winstone, who plays Bobby Glass, a career criminal from London’s East End who has built an industrial cannabis empire.
The Gentlemen follows The Duke of Halstead, Eddie Horniman (Theo James), who unexpectedly inherits his father’s considerable estate—only to discover it’s part of a clandestine cannabis empire, with a number of shady characters from Britain’s criminal underworld looking to get in on the action. Determined to free his family from their clutches, Eddie tries to let the gangsters play their own game. But as he’s drawn into the world of crime, he begins to develop a taste for it. Susie Glass (Kaya Scodelario) is Bobby’s effortlessly stylish and steely daughter who runs the day-to-day operations of the empire.
"I didn't ask for this. The title has no practical value. The business is broken," Eddie says in the trailer. Don't even get him started on his brother Freddy (Daniel Ings). Eddie is then introduced to the family business, a bloody, violent, and posh world.
