A young Brimsley (Sam Clemmett) meets King George’s valet Reynolds (Freddie Dennis) in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story , and they hit it off almost immediately. When Charlotte (India Ria Amarteifio) and George (Corey Mylchreest) are busy, Brimsley and Reynolds are able to sneak away together for some alone time. It’s a secret relationship, fraught with secrets they’re keeping from each other (including George’s mental health) that keeps these two from fully trusting each other for much of the series. There’s plenty of tension between them, such as when Brimsley begs Reynolds for the truth about George, but the scenes between them are relatively brief, and we learn at the end that Reynolds is gone in Brimsley’s old age.
