Let's get meta for a second. The Television Academy awards nearly every aspect of primetime television with the Emmys… except the Emmys themselves. That's right: Who wins the Emmys?
The campaign has been a long drag and we are now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. The votes are in, the FYC events are over (sorry, we have to pay for our own dinners again, Emmy voters!) and most of the awards directors have already turned their attention to the film world and that "Oscars" thing they do there.
