Jenna Fischer announced she has breast cancer, as The Office alum declares October Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The comedy star also shared that after chemotherapy, radiation and surgery, she is now cancer-free.
"October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I never thought I would be announcing something like this, but here we are," Fischer shared in an Instagram post. "Last December I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Triple Positive Breast Cancer. After surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, I am now cancer free."
Fischer shared a series of photos with her post, adding the following caption: "I wanted a photo of me in my spotted pixie, looking happy and healthy, to accompany this news. A huge thank you to Angela Kinsey's husband Josh Snyder for taking this photo. It's just one example of the care they've shown me throughout this journey."
