Pedro Almodóvar will undoubtedly take home the Oscars this awards season.

Pedro Almodóvar’s extensive filmography has shaped international cinema for more than four decades. With his English-language directorial debut, “The Room Next Door,” just winning the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival, Spanish auteur and distributor Sony Pictures Classics are eyeing Almodóvar’s first Best Picture nomination.
Based on the novel What Are You Going Through by Sigrid Nunez, the film follows two women – war correspondent Martha (Tilda Swinton) and author Ingrid (Julianne Moore) – who reunite under difficult circumstances after years of separation.
