"I am thrilled to be a part of The Terror: Devil in Silver. This series is a dark symphony of psychological horror and gripping drama, ready to shake audiences," Stevens said in a statement. "Victor LaValle, Christopher Cantwell and this incredible team have created a unique and twisted dance of devils and shadows. I look forward to delivering something epic that will ring through the halls like an iron bell."
The Terror: Devil in Silver is being written and executive produced by Chris Cantwell and Victor LaValle, based on the latter's 2012 novel of the same name. It's Stevens' latest horror project after recently starring in the horror comedy Abigail. He will also star in the upcoming horror thriller Cuckoo, due out August 9.
"In Season 3, Stevens plays Pepper, a working-class mover who, through a combination of bad luck and a bad temper, is wrongfully committed to New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital — an institution filled with people society would rather forget," the logline reads. "There, he must contend with patients who work against him, doctors who harbor dark secrets, and maybe even the devil himself. As Pepper navigates a hellscape where nothing is as it seems, he discovers the only path to freedom is to confront the entity that thrives on suffering within New Hyde's walls — but if he does, he may prove the worst demons of all live within him."
