Alan Cumming Is Surprised These Players Have Lasted at The Traitors | WWHL
Peacock's The Traitors is up for four Emmy Awards for its second season. Host Alan Cumming spoke candidly about what he loves about the reality series.
"I really love this show. I love being at the castle. I love everyone there. It's so much fun," Cumming said at the virtual panel for Deadline's Contenders TV: The Nominees. "What was great the second time around is we all got back into it a little bit more. And everyone had a little bit more confidence because we'd done one before and the show had been a success. And now we've really found our groove."
Cumming — who is nominated for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program, his fifth career Emmy nomination — said, "It felt really good to come back," adding, "It's great when you do something new, but you always worry that you're not going to have a chance to make it better and make it better. And that's what was so great about this second season. It really felt like we had a chance to tinker with things a little bit. I think the show is better because of it. And it's always nice to be in Scotland."
