The second episode of The Walking Dead spinoff, called The Book of Carol, returns Sunday, September 29 on AMC (streaming on AMC+). The network dropped a new trailer and a Season 3 renewal at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 (check out the SDCC trailer above), and now AMC is sharing a deeper look at Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Clémence Poésy, and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi in new episodic photos.
Picking up where The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon left off, the new season follows fan-favorite characters Daryl and Carol as they both confront old demons as she fights to find her boyfriend and he grapples with his decision to stay in France, causing tensions within the Nest. Additionally, Genet’s (Anne Charrier) movement is gaining momentum, setting Pouvoir on a violent collision course with the Union of Hope in the fight for France’s future.
The series has already been renewed for Season 3, which will be set and filmed in Spain. Now that Daryl has bonded with Isabelle and Laurent, will they join him and Carol on the journey to Spain? Season 2 will have to reveal how Daryl and Carol will be reunited and how Carol will find her footing in Daryl’s new community.
