The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon — The Book of Carol has been renewed for a third season.

Production begins next month in Madrid, with planned filming locations in the regions of Galicia, Aragon, Catalonia and Valencia. Season two of The Book of Carol premieres September 29 on AMC and AMC+.
Season three follows Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) as they continue their journey home to their loved ones. As they struggle to find their way back, the trail leads them further astray, taking them through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar circumstances as they witness the varying effects of the Walker apocalypse.
"I'm so excited for the new challenges for Daryl and Carol, as they are so far removed from everything they've ever known… what it means to them, what it brings to both of them, apart and together," McBride said in a statement. "There's so much to do in France for the upcoming season two, and a breathtaking finale. And now Spain! I already know David Zabel's storytelling will bring out the best in everything that is so beautiful and unique about Spain. We start filming there in just a few weeks… so excited to be there!"
