Showrunner, writer and executive producer Little Marvin and actor-singer Luke James talk about the second season of Prime Video's Them: The Scare in today's episode. The series also features Deborah Ayorinde (Riches, Harriet) and Pam Grier (Foxy Brown, Bones, Ghost of Mars, Jackie Brown). Them: The Scare is set again in Los Angeles (the first part, subtitled Covenant, was set in Compton circa 1952, while the new season moves forward in time) The story centers on LAPD Homicide Detective Dawn Reeve (Ayorinde), who is assigned to a new case: the gruesome murder of a foster mother that has shocked even the most hardened detectives. As she navigates a tumultuous time in Los Angeles , with the city on the brink of chaos, Dawn is determined to stop the killer. But as she gets closer to the truth, she and her family are struck by something ominous and evil.
Little Marvin's production company Odd Man Out has entered into a deal with Amazon Studios to create and produce original series and films for Prime Video.
