With her big heart and unwavering fight for justice, Mariska Hargitay's Olivia Benson is the one victims want on their case — and the one perpetrators regret. "Benson is a hero," Hargitay tells us, "someone who has fought for women and raised women's voices."
One of the star's favorite episodes is from the William Lewis (Pablo Schreiber) arc in Season 15. "Pablo Schreiber played a psychotic killer who kidnapped and tortured [Benson] twice," she says. "We were definitely going into uncharted territory there. The goal is to surprise yourself and really be in a moment. I felt like we accomplished that."
