Tim Allen and Kat Dennings Team Up for ABC Comedy 'Shifting Gears'
ABC has officially ordered Shifting Gears to series, with Tim Allen and Kat Dennings still on board to star in the multi-camera comedy. The series is still looking for a new showrunner.
Although Shifting Gears was originally ordered as a pilot by ABC earlier this year, production ran into some setbacks. Mike Scully and Julie Thacker Scully, who were announced to co-write and co-produce the pilot, have since left Shifting Gears.
Meanwhile, the role of Nick, which was given to Froy Gutierrez (The Strangers: Chapter 1) in May, will be recast.
