Top 20 Book-to-Film Adaptations of the Century So Far
EXCLUSIVE: Tioleja Films has acquired four novels by author Gabriel Souleyka for film adaptation: Solitude, My Soul is a Witness, Akoni Yoruba and Toya.
Tioleja recently signed a production deal with Ten Ten Global Media to co-produce My Soul is a Witness. Ten Ten is a multimedia company founded by Lisa Osinloye and Simone Y. White that produces feature films and television projects. They were executive producers of the feature film The Last Full Measure from 2020. Yasmina Fagbemi Edwards (Bigger Than Africa), CEO of Tioleja Films, is attached to produce each adaptation, along with Gabriel Souleyka as screenwriter and producer.
Gabriel has a PhD in history, specializing in African history. He published his debut novel, Le Cri De L'Innocence, in 2020 in France. He worked for many years as a script doctor and then worked on several film projects as a screenwriter. He has already five historical novels that have been rated bestsellers on Amazon. His sixth novel, Toya, will be released this fall.
