Guy Ritchie's Paramount+ series The Associate is set to tap Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan to join the cast. Hardy previously worked with Ritchie on 2008's RocknRolla, while Mirren and Brosnan have never appeared in a project from the Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels director.

Negotiations for the roles of Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan in Guy Ritchie's The Associate have entered their final stages.
The series was originally in development under the title The Donovans and was set to serve as a British spin-off to the Showtime series Ray Donovan (2013-2020). However, it has since become a standalone series and is now no longer connected to the Liev Schreiber-led crime drama show and its 2022 television film sequel, Ray Donovan: The Movie. (via Variety)
According to Deadline, The Associate is a working title. Hardy is reportedly being approached to play a fixer named Harry in a story about a family of gangsters and the man they call when they have a problem. Mirren and Brosnan are reportedly being considered for the roles of the family's matriarch and patriarch.
